The 2004 winner of the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition, rising star and DC-favorite Gretchen Parlato brings her soulful voice back to Washington this season. "In an inconspicuous way, Gretchen Parlato knows how to play the same instrument that Frank Sinatra played. There’s no one out there like Gretchen,” says Wayne Shorter.
These performances are made possible through the generous support of the Abramson Family Foundation.
