WPAS offers training for artists associated with its education programs. All artists involved in the Concerts In Schools program participate in a required number of workshops and classes to enhance the presentation of their artistic programs at schools. Workshop topics include arts integration, classroom management, vocal projection, standards of learning, and best practices. Artists wishing to participate in the In-School Artist Residency program attend a two-day Professional Development Institute during the summer. Local artists interested in working with WPAS' education activities may submit program proposals. Inquiries are reviewed on a rolling basis. |
